Wines that Shine grew out of a pregnancy. Yes, really. Here's how it happened...
Back in the day, Klarissa was pregnant with her first son. This meant more than a year of no wine. The problem is, when you're a wine lover, not drinking wine doesn't mean you're going to stop buying wine. So while her first and second children were young, Klarissa's wine collection grew...and grew. Eventually, Klarissa and her husband started giving wine away. It was that, or have their wine collection spill out into the kitchen.
They'd mix up a case of wine for friends ('we know what you like,') and it was always very well-received. Fast forward a few years, and Wines that Shine is sending wine all round Australia. It's a wine lovers dream job: find the best wines and send them out to people who're going to love them and share them with their friends.

Who are we?
Klarissa and her husband Rob founded Wines that Shine to share their love of great wine with the world. We enjoy the classics like Barossa Shiraz, Clare Riesling & Yarra Pinot. We especially love the gems that have a tale to tell.
We source wines from Australia and around the world: Napa Valley, Tuscany, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, even New Zealand. For us, great wine isn't just about the vintage. It's about the memories you create. In our humble (but always accurate) opinion, the perfect pairing is wine with a night out with old friends, classic bad jokes, and good laughs.

Klarissa has been a wine lover since her first taste of vino back in '89. Her and her husband Rob share the belief that Aussies should be able to enjoy great wines without breaking the bank, and Wines that Shine is fulfilling that promise.

Rob divides his time between Wines that Shine and his other company, 2020 Fire Protection. Wine and fire safety don't usually go together, but in Rob's case, they're like Cab Sav and Parmesan.
How we source the absolute best
Many of the best wines never make it to retail stores. They’re snapped up by restaurants and fancy wine bars. That’s where we come in. Over the years we’ve built relationships with wine dealers throughout Australia and internationally. This means we can bring these exclusive wines to our members - at industry insider prices.

Any delivery instruction, which you provide during checkout are a guide for the Contracted Courier Company to follow, however it is not a guarantee that these instructions will be followed. Wines that Shine do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to Leave delivery method. You agree to release Wines that Shine from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.
The ratings of wines on winesthatshine.com.au, packaging and literature are the view of Wines That Shine unless a third party rating system has been referred to specifically.
